Devadoss is a Partner in the Firm's Chennai Office. He started his career as a litigation lawyer in the area of taxation and labour laws, specializing in indirect taxes. His 12 years of legal experience includes 5 years corporate experience as Head-Legal in one of the leading U.S. MNC engaged in automobile manufacturing in India. His experience ranges from taxation - income tax, customs, service tax, excise etc., labour laws, real estate, foreign collaboration, joint ventures. FTP, mergers and acquisitions, exchange control laws, corporate & commercial laws, consumer matters and various global contracts
Apart from the above. Devadoss has hands-on experience in handling de-mergers and has lead a major automobile acquisition project in South India. His experience ranges from manufacturing sector to software sector and his areas of specialization is indirect taxes and labour laws.
