Jayne is the Resident Attorney managing the Firm’s Singapore office. Before relocating to Singapore, Jayne was working with the Firm’s New Delhi office for more than four years as a corporate and commercial lawyer.
Her major focus in the last few years has been in advising clients on all aspects relating to foreign investments through joint venture transactions, private equity acquisitions and establishment of wholly owned subsidiaries. She has extensively advised numerous transnational companies in various sectors on complex and general legal issues including corporate restructuring, joint venture transactions, private equity investments, acquisitions, foreign investment, regulatory compliances, industrial and labour laws, environmental laws, etc. Apart from regularly advising clients on various corporate commercial transactions, her prime area of interest lies in the Media, Telecom & Technology field and she is a member of the Firm’s Technology & Media practice desk. Jayne started her career as a telecom lawyer for some of the leading telecom and IT companies in the country and continues to extensively and regularly advise the Firm’s telecom and media clients, some of whom are the biggest and largest in the industry. Her media and telecom expertise has also led her to appear and argue for clients in the Telecom Dispute Settlement and Appellate Tribunal and consumer forums at the District and State level.
Jayne currently advises the Firm’s Singapore based clients doing business or investing in India.
