Henal Vakharia has done her Solicitors from England and has been practising in Mumbai for over 17 years. She has advised and represented clients on a wide range of issues involving IPR, Media & Entertainment, Real Estate & Infrastructure, banking & finance. Henal regularly appears before Bombay High Court and has significant experience in domestic and international arbitration.
Henal has advised number of leading media and entertainment companies of India. She has vast experience in drafting and negotiating contracts for signing actors/technicians/ music composers/arrangers/ lyric writers/ story writer/screen play/ and thereafter assignment of respective rights in favour of the producer and in case of musical works to the music company as the case may be.
In addition to media and entertainment, Henal has vast experience in handling IP and real estate litigation. Prior to joining the Firm, Henal had her independent practice. She was also a partner with a leading firm of Mumbai till 2008.
