Ajith is a Partner in the Firm's Chennai Office. He practices in the areas of corporate and aviation law and has earlier worked in the Firm’s Gurgaon office.
Ajith has advised clients in various sectors on matters relating to foreign direct investment, technical collaboration, share/asset purchase deals, establishment of branch/liaison/project offices in India by foreign entities, external commercial borrowings, foreign exchange regulations, securities law, mergers, corporate restructuring and compliance audits. He also has wide experience in drafting of commercial contracts.
Ajith has extensively worked on aviation leases and has advised several major aviation leasing/financing entities with respect to their leasing transactions in India. His areas of experience include preparation of jurisdictional analyses, review of aircraft leasing and financing documentation, obtaining of approvals and registrations from the Director General of Civil Aviation and advising on compliance requirements pertaining to air transport operations.
