Mr. Raju is the Resident Partner and Branch Head of the Hyderabad office. He practices in the areas of banking, corporate, civil, criminal, economic, industrial, intellectual property and real estate.
Prior to joining the practice, he worked with two large financial institutions (IDBI and ICICI) as in-house counsel for a period of 9 years. During that period, he has acquired vast experience in Banking, Corporate law, Project Finance, Securitization, Title due diligence, Recovery Litigation, Liquidation proceedings and Debt restructuring.
He has negotiated and structured a range of commercial transactions for domestic and multinational corporations, including, amongst others, in relation to infrastructure and project finance, structured finance and securitization, due diligence of funding documentation, venture capital and private equity, real estate and construction, land acquisition, company incorporation, joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions, contracts, franchising and agency.
Over the last few years, his practice is primarily focused on arbitration, project finance, banking, corporate law, recovery of money, real estate, mortgages, securitization, joint ventures, foreign investments and drafting of contracts.
